How we protect your style story

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect the personal information you share with us across the Mira mobile app, waitlist, and related experiences (together, the "Service"). We built Mira to feel like a trusted stylist you can message anytime, and safeguarding your data is a critical part of that trust.

1. Who is responsible for your data

The Service is provided by 2-Minute Apps, a sole proprietorship located at 22 Bagmati Road, Northern Town, Jamshedpur – 831001, Jharkhand, India. We act as the data controller for the personal data we process. Reach us any time at hello@2minuteapps.co.

2. The information we collect

We collect information that helps Mira understand your style, personalize recommendations, and operate the Service:

  • Account and contact details: your email, name, and onboarding profile so we can identify you.
  • Style inputs and photos: wardrobe photos, outfit photos, and fit checks you choose to upload so Mira can analyze silhouettes, colors, and context. These images may include your face and body. We use them only to provide styling advice. We do not use facial recognition, create biometric identifiers, or try to identify you from your face.
  • Subscription and billing data: subscription status, plan selection, and transaction identifiers processed via Apple and RevenueCat (we never receive your full payment card details).
  • Usage and analytics data: interactions, device signals, rough location, and feature performance captured through PostHog so we know what delights you and what needs polish.
  • Support conversations: messages or requests you send to our team, including data deletion requests.

3. How we use your information

We use your data to deliver and grow Mira:

  • Personalize styling advice, outfits, and wardrobe insights.
  • When you share photos or videos, we use them only to comment on outfits, colors, and overall styling. We do not use your images for facial recognition, identity verification, or any kind of biometric profiling.
  • Operate core app features, authentication, and onboarding.
  • Process subscriptions, manage access, and confirm eligibility.
  • Communicate updates, styling tips, and support messages.
  • Monitor usage, run experiments, and improve the Service.
  • Protect against fraud, misuse, or security incidents.
  • Comply with legal obligations and platform policies.

When EU/UK privacy laws apply, our legal bases include performing our contract with you, legitimate interests (such as improving the product), consent where required, and compliance with legal obligations.

4. How long we keep your information

We keep your personal data only as long as needed for the purposes described above. Most styling data stays active while you maintain an account. When you request deletion from within the app or via email, we remove or anonymize your personal data within 30 days, unless we must retain certain records to meet legal, tax, or security requirements.

5. How you can control your data

You have choices about how we use your information:

  • Access, correct, or update your profile inside the app.
  • Manage marketing emails by using unsubscribe links or contacting us.
  • Request data deletion directly from the app or by emailing hello@2minuteapps.co. We will verify your identity before fulfilling requests.

If you are in the European Union, United Kingdom, or other regions with data rights, you may also request a copy of your data, restrict or object to processing, or ask us to port your data to another service. California residents can request disclosure of categories of personal information we collect, and we confirm that we do not sell your personal information as defined by the CCPA.

6. Sharing your information

We share information only with partners who help Mira work:

  • OpenAI (our AI provider) receives your voice, photos, and conversation messages during styling consultations to power real-time AI responses and visual analysis. We do not store your voice recordings or video—they are processed in real-time and discarded. Chat messages and photos you share are stored in our database to provide context for future conversations. They act only as processors on our behalf and are not allowed to use your content for their own advertising or independent training purposes. OpenAI's data usage is governed by their Privacy Policy and Business Terms.
  • RevenueCat to manage subscriptions and verify App Store purchases.
  • PostHog to understand product usage and improve your experience.
  • Render.com and infrastructure providers to host our API and securely store data.
  • Professional advisers or authorities if required by law, to protect our rights, or to respond to legal requests.

Each partner is bound by confidentiality and data security obligations. If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, we will notify you before your personal data is transferred.

7. International data transfers

We serve stylists-in-the-making wherever Apple allows us to distribute the app. Your data may be processed in India, the United States, or other countries where our partners operate. When we transfer data internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or other lawful mechanisms to protect your rights.

8. Protecting your information

Security is foundational to the trust you place in Mira. We employ access controls, encryption in transit, secure hosting practices, and regular monitoring to guard your data. No system is perfectly secure, so we encourage you to use strong passwords, keep your device updated, and contact us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

9. Children’s privacy

Mira is designed for people 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction. If we learn that a child has provided personal data, we will delete it promptly. Parents or guardians who believe their child’s data was collected should contact us immediately.

10. Regulatory disclosures

We design Mira to align with global privacy requirements, including the GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, COPPA, and other applicable laws governing the regions where Apple distributes our app. When a region grants you additional rights or places extra duties on us, we honor those obligations.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect product evolution, new regulations, or operational changes. When we make significant updates, we will notify you via the app, email, or a prominent notice on this page. The “Effective Date” above tells you when the latest version took effect.
